Hello Skype.
Where is the app for Blackberry.
I had to buy a cheap compatible Nokia just to run the Skype app, which is OK, but why not Blackberry. This is not rocket science so what's the problem.

I'm in two minds about this. While it should have been simple to create an application for Skype on WP7, it's even better to have things integrated fully with the OS, like they do with FB and Live! services.
So long as I get it on my Trophy, I'll be happy. Don't care about video calls, just want Skype!

A friend of mine from Dubai has an HTC HD2 phone that runs Windows Phone 7 and has a Skype app. The HTC HD2 was originally made for Windows Mobile. It was also able to run Android and then Windows Phone 7. He was able to load and run the CAB file so I am sure it was sideloaded. I don't really think he knows what he has (a hacked phone).

The keyword is "integrated". Yes you can download a standalone Skype app for Win and Mac. For smartphones Android, iOS, Symbian, Blackberry OS and Skype lite for Java feature phones. Ironically not yet available for WP7 as standalone app either.

On the front page it says this:
Although Microsoft is still not giving a proper release date it is expected to arrive in Apollo.
Shouldn't Apollo be april?
