I used the GPS from google on my old Samsung A940 and it worked great in high tower-populated areas. It was already available for certain phones in the begining of the year, but it kept on loosing location. Hopefully now that its "publicized" it won't have that same problem...and even if it does I won't complain 'cause it free :D

You guys are asking too much to a beta and free version, if u need more accuracy, pay money and get GPS devices. If there is no signal, easy, open your useless mouth and asking

This is super cool! but it works best with 3G threr you are connected to multiple towers, you can get in city 10m precision, but with gsm you are connected to only 1 tower and with distance upp tp 2km

Utterly useless! 1km precision is no precision at all..
