Averge phone but it has no camera zoom. For this class of camera/phone that is very poor.

2. galasy s run on 512 mb (as per the specs).
3. you are no samsung user, or else probably should be a low end phone
4. you do not know how well Galaxy S can run ICS ,for get GB...to educate yourself login to XDA forums and learn there.
5. How did you know the price? can you post any links as proof or you must be a jamesbond...
6. if somehting is pointless to you, doenot mean to all .there are enough buyers and its aimed at a different market altogether.
7. 2 phones which run ICS out of box as of today is galaxy nexus, nexus prime is not gsm device.. refer gsmarena first
8. get educated before arguing. dont be offended, but these are the facts.

Q:Sony Xperia S is actually waiting for Google green light to introduce ICS straight from the box (in case u donno).

A: Green light?? ROFL... what for ?.. Again ROFL.. Google has already release the ICS code to dev community, so wat green light is required for sony? be specific, can you post any links as proof.

ie: Samsung Indonesia already confirmed that Galaxy R won't be available in Indonesia.
but they confirmed that i9070 will be available here in Indonesia.

As I recall the issue behind I9000 not supporting an ICS update was the lack of enough (512 not being enough for ICS+TouchWiz+"smoothness")not the CPU, so I tend to disagree with your statement as I'm pretty sure the device will also have 512Mb of RAM!

What is the whole point of little changes and making developers busy for days and nights because of one simple change.

why dont all bloody mobile phone makers stick to 3 phones per year and that will make life easier for developers and manufacturers will also be able to update and stream fixes quicker.

one cheap
one mid price
one high specs

i am fed up

these phones are targeted for customers of a certain criteria, you very well know its not a flagship model, neither did samsung announce.

so if the specs / price / other factors{personal taste} suits your criteria, then buy it. no one is forcing you.

btw, what specs does Xperia S have to scare GS3, its not even good as GS2, Oh yes, Xperia S still rolls out with GB 2.3. lol

through out the video, the user never showed it's the i9070...i observed still the old i9000 make over or i9001...

again another top end mid range handset.specs r ok,1ghz dual possible a tegra 2 which one of weakest dual core soc's(weakest being the snapdragon soc used in most htc phones).512mb ram,4-8gb internal storage,but 5mp with 720p is so 2010.hopefully samsung is gonna sell this a bit cheaper than galaxy r and optimus 2x or else forget this phone +R.I.P+

I think Samsung marketing has gone too far. It puts me off actually buying another Samsung when you have to wonder with the lack of faith in their own products.
If Apple does really well with just one major cell phone and it maintains value (relevance)what is that telling you about Samsung where you buy a cell phone, drive it out of the shop, and it losses value straight away.
The backside is falling out of the value of Samsung products as Samsung is just churning out any stuff now and calling it new.
