Nokia should actually ask a list of music from their customers, download the same to the selected phone / card and then give the phone or card to the customers. Hi Nokia, I have a list of around 1000 of my fav music not available in the market. Could you fill it and give it to me? This will also be a great challenge for Nokia and people wanting to give gift phones!!!

Sony never underestimated them yet the express music and w960 reviews were surprising. news already spreaded about this worldwide insult. Nokia as a big company will never down to their knees. But time will change. This is a major damage.

Nokia giving away music for free means pretty much NOTHING more then PR bite unless your provider agrees to foot the bill for the download of the song (GPRS or whatever). And Im PRETTY sure that this service will not work over the web so you cant use a wifi connection to download it...

if this is the type of 'innovation' that Nokia plans counter the iPhone with, you can short Nokia stock...

What would be interesting a subscription model where the local provider charge you 5-10USD for a monthly subscription that includes unlimited download to the full Universal library. And I mean real download speeds not throttled by the provider or nokia...

oh and one more thing is to put decent+ CPUs and memory in their phones to really allow Symbian to not suck. If I were Symbian, with iPhone here, Android coming (and Google bidding on frequencies in the US) I would actually make this a contractual point with Nokia et al...

it looks like some SE fanboys are bitter.
SE advance technology?
se can't even make a worthy competition to the year old n95... let alone the new n82 with xenon flash wifi etc

Nokia- and Symbian-oriented fan sites? GSMArena is one big nokia lover, how come you were not acknowledged? GSMArena; push your look again next time.
^_^ I guess your "too-good" reviews for Nokia phones didn't grant you their respect.

A Big Dissappointment Nokia??

How could you??

Yes Nokia how could you deny an invitation to GSMArena.

Nokia, I am sorry to say, but unfortunatly itz expected that ypu apologize for this with an explaination to GSM Arena.

So many people rely on this website for GSM Arena's reviews on Nokia Phones & people's opinions about Nokia Phones on GSM Arena before taking their final decison to buy their Nokia phones. I am a major Nokia fan aswell. I have lost quite a few of my phone & have also consisdered GSM Arena as a major part of my decison maker, I am not trying to sound funny, but GSM Arena has helped in a big way inorder for me to take my final decisons with regards to buying all my Nokia phones.

Frankly speaking I dont remember when was the last time I visited the Nokia official website.

Anyways Nokia, we hope this would not happen again in the future & please remember that GSM Arena have to always be respected for the great job they have done so far & for the good work they would do in the future.

Have a nice day everyone.

Cheers!!

GSMarena is the top rated mobile site regarding volume of internet traffic, followed by our own (Mobile-Review).
Nokia only give freebies to Nokia bloggers who will give a positive press, he who pays the piper calls the tune!!

pity that they haven't invited GSM Arena because of all the efforts that you put on making mobile technology understandable for all of us. but anyway maybe they will Just Get High in Amsterdam (and who knows maybe they get inspired and invent something) - so you will be able to stay clean from that stuff :)
Keep up the good work GSM Arena you are the best so far!!!
