> In reply to Ashly @ 2012-02-12 15:16 from tYZT - click to readu r right ashly flv avc files dont work and the video performance is generally lower than symbian 3 and anna for example in symbian 3 and anna rmvb files were supported up to cif res but now they hang every couple of seconds and there are stuff missing like ac3 and multi-channel audio and utf-8 subs in mkv and mpg support. i sent a couple of emails to nokia to fix those issues in belle update but the only thing they fixed is wmv which used to hang every couple of seconds in anna
the new video interface is also not good as the audio and apect ratio shortcuts are hidden
so i guess if u want to go back to anna u could use a flashing app like phoenix or jaf or something

being a Nokia N8 user i am using Belle and i lkove it
few things are androidish but it is worth it
i personally am happy with its overall performance and i really hope they launch more updates
i am still not sure why Elop wants to declare Symbian dead
there was this time when Symbian ruled the rooster

> In reply to sad nokia500 user @ 2012-02-13 07:06 from PAWD - click to readi cant agree, on my n8 belle works very nicely. much faster and battery life has improoved a lot. some things are different (back and menu switched sides, messaging opens in conversations, no voice control shortcut...), but you get used to it.
the looks are not the only thing that changed, you cant call a drop down notification bar a different look - it adds a completely new functionality to the phone.
also, ive had no problems with installing and running apps on my phone, like opera, fring, skype and so on.
maybe branded versions have problems, mine was also branded, but i flashed it with phoenix to get rid of bloatware...

still no news when BELLE will be available for NOKIA500. and reading some comments now, im not even sure if this is worth waiting for.

positive feedbacks just say that BELLE LOOKS GOOD. seriously guys, good looks wont last forever, maybe after a month with BELLE, you'll understand what im trying to say.

so nokia spent a whole lot of time to work on a software and make it LOOK GOOD? and wow, ADDED 3HOMESCREENS?

to all symbian users, dont be too excited just because you have 6homescreens and that it looks good. don't forget, that in a year, nokia will DUMP symbian and of course, along with the users.

and to my beloved nokia. try to get a software that PERFORMS WELL. and for the sake of your LOYAL USERS, improve your store because it sells junk. not so late guys, so work on it.

It's been five days since the update went global! I'm in bangladesh and nokia has updated only a small number of product codes. My product code is not even listed! When will nokia add more product codes! any info?
