i too think that 4:3 is not that bad, it has its pron's, gaming and such, and if you put goeorgeus IPS LCD's of an AH type, well you have even more reasons to be happy about, it's ppi of 250 is not that bad either, just 300pp would have been nicer imo...

High-end product from LG! I'm not quite convinced, though. This company has been a dumbass in smartphone business. I hope this time will be different. Let's see if this one beats Galaxy S2.

> In reply to hdieu @ 2012-02-08 11:14 from iiaB - click to readWell, at least I think 21:9 is useless, starts to be too wide, not usefull even in movies, not tall enought. 16:9 is (in my opinion) the best for movies, and still very usefull, 4:3 is not good for movies, but good for web browsing.
In fact, years ago none of us complained about our TVs and computer monitors aspect ratio being 4:3.

Is it just me or could LG bring out (on paper) the most amazing phone ever and it still wouldn't even register on my radar?
I don't know why, but I don't trust the brand and think all of the horror stories of them not updating software, has (for me at least) prevented them from ever being a serious contender?

I have to say oooohh!!
GB.....dampner!!!
But I like your spirit LG,unlike some OEM like BB..uninspiring,stubbornly identical even after god knows how many years & then again dish out crappiest spec sheet to buyers to nmake them feel more ungrateful...........!!!
Samsung: Plethora of spin-offs after something becmes a hit!.Focuses on cloning the flagship with a few alterations, trying desperately to declare that they have a range ..........Yawn!
Seriously get some designers on the R&D team!!!......
Think phone=WOW!! & you will hit the bulls eye since our eyes are sore after looking at all of your slabs!!
LG: Take a look around, wake up kick yourself, punch the walls do what it takes to deserve the crown...if thats what you are eyeing for....& mostly look at delivering timely updates for your forgotten phones along with customers or you will be licking wounds in this tech wars after every showdown.
or else you will be remebered.....LG( LOST FOR GOOD)!!
