This phone is a joke. A very sad one.

I'm not launching into a debate about the feature set of the S40; nor am I whining that you can get more features for 10% of the price because those are not the yardsticks that matter for a phone like this.

What DOES matter is the bling:
the looks, the rich, sinful, luxurious, drool-worthy object of desire that turns heads, causes people to point at and whisper; maybe even break into your house and try to steal.

..but for a phone that looks as hideous as THIS, I think not.

I mean come on, "surgical steel"? Not cool. And neither is "black toned glass".

And what were they thinking when they designed those tiny button-knob keys and round D-pad?

I'm sure he was just exaggerating to get his point across. But S40 is far, far from useless - definitely not a kids toy.

Why spend $2700 on a phone with the capabilities of a $270 one?

This will certainly challenge the Vertu collection. I would love to see how these 2 will compare.
