my Nokia 500 has Dstv mobile but i don't know if works, i tried to test it but it tells me that the Dstv mobileis not able to retrieve the neccessary data. Does this mean that the Dstv mobile is just for fancy?

Nokia 500 had a problem since it was invented and first introduced in Mobile Market. The main and crutial teasing problem was of its operating system viz, Symbian Anna. Nokia was about to loose status of this newly launched product from the competitive market. But, one drastic change was made by introducing Symbian Belle O.S. (operating system) for Nokia 500 mobile device. This brought certain positive changes and nullified some errors. But yet, even the said Belle update can't prove their best in the market lashing Android O.S. This strikes our attention to introduce Android O.S. for not only Nokia 500 but also some other Nokia Devices which are facing problems loading O.S. Now, it solely depends on Nokia Inc. whether it takes this matter with serious concern or not.

I bought the phone 6 months ago and I am quite disappointed with this phone, even after updating the OS to Belle the phone still freezes a lot and the battery life still drains fast even if it's on standby mode and take note I bought this 1st hand. I'm more happy with my Nokia 6300!

well i have a nokia 500..i 'm having little problem with it these days..its getting hang quite often..and i thought i would update it but it says...cant update now..plz..wht should i do..how can i update it frm laptop..if possible..

I m totally satisfied wid nokia belle software updates. I hav done the updates myself using my personal laptop. The many more changes and features are included in belle. the more shortcuts, high speed browsers. i cant explain. though i m using 32gb external memory n hav just 2gb free nw i m nt getting any problems. the battery back up iz also more in comparision to anna. thank you
