As mini tablet, it might be ok. But as a phone, this shape looks stupid, I mean, very.

This looks awesome...even though the article states that the Galaxy notes has a higher ppi this is untrue....the Galaxy note uses pentile which gives a much lower ppi due to it's lack of subpixels....The IPS display on a 5" screen is surely a relevation...Like the idea of 4:3 also on this type of device....
Just hope we can see it in the US soon...

> In reply to SCULA @ 2012-02-19 10:16 from 0Cb2 - click to readI disagree that phones over 4 inch are too large. . If you have moved from a SGSII to a 4s, it has less to do with size, and and more to do with lack of due diligence when choosing a handset on your part.. Android phones are available with a screen of similar size to Apples, and but you chose to migrate to a different system seems to me that you just wanted to have an iphone like your friends. NOTE TO EVERYONE: the dimensions of the next phone you have the desire to buy will be available on the Internet. if not already. A ruler, pen, paper and scissors are available from most general stores. Draw rectangle on paper using dimensions. Cut out rectangle. Hold rectangle in hand. I done this and I'm still happy with my Galaxy Note.

even wider? the Galaxy note is huge but easy to get used to. The LG vu has probably taken it a few mm to far.

As long this thing doesnt look like an iPhone, it's Ugly!
Galaxy FTW! I guess.. Only Note! I don't like SGS2.. It's no more nowadays trend..
Bigger is better(To show off!)

4:3, really? In this day and age?
What is this, the 1990s?

I thought the Note was bad enough at 5.whatever inches without a weird, outdated aspect ratio!

This stupid device with a 4:3 display is probably the worst, most outdated Tech idea since Sony PS-Vita's properietary media.
