In any case the power consumed by the processor is utterly unimportant. It's awake for like couple hours each day for normal use. What really consumes battery life is the screen and the radios.
Anyway I am looking forward to what Sammy will cook up this year. When they display hardware it takes the market by a storm and becomes the reference for at least a year. For example sgs2 is still one of the most potent devices.

At this stage I don't really care that much about raw performance in a cellphone. My SGS2 has plenty of power to spare. What I do care about is efficiency.
Is Tegra3 still the king when it comes to power efficiency? I heard it has a fifth slower core to handle easier tasks and that gives it better battery life than the rest of the competition.
