lmfao... it runs on software that is 16 months old. No other phone manufacturer, apart from RIM, is dumb enough to release flagship models with an outdated version of its OS, yet this seems to be common practice amongst android OEMs.

cant agree more, i'm a nokia n8 user(but in no way do i consider myself a fanboy) and it does sport a 3.5" screen, however, i find this is too small. i do like the sgs2 but find the screen a bit large. 3.72 (ish) i find is a great size to use.

I dont deny that large size amplifies difficulty in single handed usage.

but were you aware that, earlier, few good men adviced that 3.5 inch is the sweet spot for a mobile screen and anything beyond that is not suitable. Now it changed to 4 inch, i 'd love to see where it goes next.

Awesome Numbers from Samsung SII . It was a phone I considered before settling on the Nokia E7.

Numbers dont lie; and the success is well deserved for this phone for the hardware it packs and its good screen.

My only concern is its size, and even after using it quite often (my friend's mobile); I feel its a bit too large. As many mentioned 4" is the sweet spot for most people. Beyond that is really un-suited for single hand operation.

The SGS3 will be only have 3 upgrades over SGS2:
1) Quad core
2) HD screen
3) ICS with Samsung touchviz custom user interface

Rest all the specs will be same as in SGS2

Well done samsung its no surprise its done so well.Phone of the year last year.Im surprised the nokia fanboys havent been bashing it yet and saying the lumia has sold millions.Well 1millon in a few months shows you just how bad the lumia is.In my place of work the gs2 and iphone 4s are the best sellers by far and the lumia well lets just say weve had more freebies from nokia then weve actually sold of them.Look forward to the all nokia slaying gs3!Keep them coming samsung and keep giving the public what they want. Its obviously working.

I do hate these miserable full touch fones of today but if the sgs 3 is over 4.3 inches sales will be nowhere near as good. Its covered by tech blogs who mainly complain about the size of todays phone(tablet really) and all say 4inch is the sweet spot..The sgs2 is too big for me personally.

Samsung has made phones with some pathetic support. Except the gs1, gs2, and nexus lineup, the other samsung droids hvnt got the support they deserved. Bt samsung hardware is always ahead of its time
