MeeGo 1.2 update for Nokia N9 goes live - read the full textAbout a month after it was seeded to developers for testing, the v1.2 update for MeeGo goes live. The update weighs in at 284MB and it may take a while to install (up to 40 minutes according to Nokia). But it's well worth the wait. With it, you'll get to make video calls and finally put that...

yet to download the new update but im delighted with the comments so far!

the problems i have faced so far without latest update:

1) the internal gyroscope is over sensitive, playing games such as golf will cause to app to close accidentally when i swipe across the screen in landscape mode, and unintended autorotation while messaging and surfing net.

2)after taking photo with camera, have to manually connect to 3G or WIFI in order to upload photos onto fb, if i leave it alone, the phone refuses to make connection.

anyone in similar situation?

> In reply to straynger @ 2012-03-03 12:49 from IVKd - click to readsoft reset. Go to settings > reset > reset settings. Wait a little while and your done. Now battery life is slightly better than pr1.1. For me at least. Always online in 3g and wlan at home. Lasts the whole day of heavy usage. Batt life was the pits first day after update. Only half day w/out going online.

> In reply to Spacebar @ 2012-03-02 17:22 from v%IV - click to readBattery life now sucks. Updated on 1st March. Before, my battery lasted for 1.5 days with normal, non-heavy usage. I was caught off guard when the battery went totally flat and switched off before the working days was over for the past 2 days. I'm sure more people will find the same. :( Nokia please fix!

Hi guys,

After searching around video call option on the 1.2 manhattan. Finnaly I found.
It is gtalk video call enable now. Just download gtalk video calling from nokia store.
Video call front camera quality is not too good under low light.
Perhaps they will release video call soon for skype

there's no problem downloading. what the problem is, (for me) is the battery didn't last long. it took me 4 days before it entered PSM but after update, it was just like around 8hrs.
