Well deserved!! Undoubtedly SG2 did usher in a revolution & set benchmarks for what a smartphone should be!
Not a huge Sammy fan but then I beleive the accolade was won by the appropriate phone,
Lets give it by all means!

S2 would be great if that screen doesn't produce awfully oversaturated colours. Almost bought it, but when I saw the screen - no sir. AMOLED is the future, but it is just plane stupid calibrated on Galaxy phones. Didn't saw new Nexus, I hope it's more natural.

All this while it's rivals are kicking its ass in innovation, Pureview 808 as an example. 2012 is not going to look as rosy for Samsung in my opinion, though of course, I could be wrong.

well this prizes are like miss universe or miss globe.
you chose your phone according to your daily needs. if only SMS and voice calls are all you use from a phone than this big display phones are of no use.
I work in a GSM company and have to use mail to check various problem of work when i'm not in office, so the phone had to have mail capability. was using Nokia E63 for the last two years and was the best phone type both with Blackberry versions. Very hard to brake good battery life easy to use for SMS and mail.
but time came for me to upgrade and I chose again Nokia this time C7. My choice was not due to look and apps but rather to phone hardware features. I leave in country were we have to coupe with power shortage time to time. And lets be obvious nokia has a good reputation for battery life. so all this Samsung HTC Apple phones that last just one day on average use will be out of site in a couple of years. Nokia has started again to bring very exiting phones :)

I sold my tom tom since I started to use my google navigation because the difference is very big. You just need to get used with it to fully aprreciate it
