People moan about the size of it, but hey, I'm 6'7" with hands like shovels so this'll be just right for me - but why is it so damn expensive?

This phone is a joke. It's a nice mini tablet but it looks ridiculous as a phone. I saw someone use it like a phone and boy did he look like an idiot.

Not bad.
Low priced products = High sales \low profit rate
Premium priced products = low to med sales\high profit rate.
that's all apple doing these years but with one exception : Samsung didn't launched exactly same last flagship with minor updates and try to convince media and consumers with ads.

apple iphone is a sick phone wid no great features and over the top pricing!!! almost every phone currently beats it specs!!! it looks pygmy like wid its small apple guys produce jus one phone in a year which gives it too much time to justify an ideal path breaking product!! however there is nothin pathbreakin about it netime!!! so hats off to other brands like Nokia, Samsung, Sony, HTC, LG etc, who make sure that they hav a variety of options for the consumers and who work hard to deliver each handset model to the people!!!

i think i might go for galaxy note, and the major point would be size: i used htc hero first and it's 3,2" screen was quite enough, but then i bought galaxy tab 7" and suddenly all my brothers' 4" and 4,2" devices' screen seem too small and browsing the web is just awfull on them! u should know that a 7" screen is 3 times as big as a 4" one! but 7" problem is that it's not so portable and thus 5" seems like a suitable option! being so slim and with a big battery is also a plus, although the battery life didn't appear so good in testing!

Wish they upped the quality control on the screen, I had a total of 5 replacements before I got one with a screen that shows no visual artifacts.

It's great to see such positive reactions to the Galaxy Note. 3 months of ownership and I'm still happy with the Note. Even my lady who's on her 2nd iphone had to declare her love for my phone, especially when it's providing her wifi that's faster than her homes.
Great phone, great tablet, great device!

What a joke. Stop the propaganda Samsung. They *shipped* 2 million? So what? How many have they actually SOLD?

Let's see the sales numbers Samsung. The amount SHIPPED means very little. Half of those 2 million shipped could be sitting in stores across the world unsold. Samsung needs to give real sales numbers.
