I can go on but do I think I need too...

another one of my problems with PCs is viruses... my old PC got a nasty one that took my dad 2 days to fix it and the antivirus software was down for like a day... a Day... Droids get those too and antivirus software isn't cheap...

Apple has great antivirus software built-in for free... hardware designed for the software and visa-versa... and a 5 year old macbook with terrible hardware working better then a 2 year old PC... plus a lot of other little things...

now when it comes to things that I don't have experience in like Symbian I can only go with others experiences but on something do have experience in like this I am still try to keep an open mind but the experience is always there and is always in mind when talking about the products.

That is, you can buy a really cheap (or just a terrible) PC, and have it perform poorly - and then blame Windows. Same with Android - you can buy a cheap phone and then blame the OS.

Apple (and to a lesser extent, Windows Phone) don't have this issue.

this is a standard example of 'Herd Menatality'. you have iPhone? wow i will get an iPhone as well? your Android has so many apps? Wow! I will get one as well... and then i will have compatibility, freezing, copy cat, iTunes limitation, battery issues amongs others... enjoy them while they last 'fanbois'

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-03-09 00:18 from 0xQi - click to readI take that back... I disagree with you IOS and Mac... my family has only used PCs and Droid Xs besides me and even I have used PCs for most of my life and Android but I just had too many bad experiences and when I decided to use a Mac I loved it from the start... I also liked Android until I used... at first I didn't mind it but then the experience just got worse and worse until I said forget it IOS is the best (no comment on Symbian because I have not used and I don't want to make assumptions)... I know not everyone has had that experience but I did... I may give Android another shot but considering that there any signs that Google will fix it I don't think it will be anytime soon... I have not tried the GS2 for those Samsung fanboys out there

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-03-09 00:18 from 0xQi - click to readYou are right for the most part... my only problem with what you said is that when I had a PC it was really slow and I got rid of it after two years and now I have 07 macbook and it's glitchy at times but way smoother... my point is that when I use my dad's Droid X it is really slow and in that sense Android is like Windows... but Android is great for developers and that's why what you said is true...
I will also have say that I don't know if what you said about Symbian and Linux is true because I've never tried Symbian because I live in the U.S. and I have only used Linux for about 5 mins before the owner of the computer kicked me off... but of my experience it's very developer friendly.

You see the main idea of a Nokia was it was for entertainment the true entertainment-music, videos, photos and a few games, iOS is only for kids who never had a PC and android is for developers, in other words it replaced PDAs. Symbian is and always will be Windows on a PC platform, iOS will be Mac and android linux

Growth is more significant in companies with smaller market shares to begin with, and it becomes less significant for companies that began with greater market share.

This is no surprise that Android is dominating because of their manufacturer monopoly.

Even in worldwide version, nokia with its symbian never been reached on top anymore!
Hey pathetic kid, open ur eyes, this is 2012, not the era of N81 or even whatsoever old symbian u liked! Nseries was dead several years ago!
And dun compare it with 4S. Only the great Galaxy S2 could do that job as 4S' biggest rival ever
Audio output more better than 4S? If u compare its loudspeaker, yes, your ugly phone won, but try with Beats headset or Bose. Bet u never had one in ur pathetic life kid.
Why nokia dumbfans never got it? Nokia is good, but it was a long time ago. Geez..

What is interesting is this, i searched older stat for same report.

beginning of 2011 samsung share was 24.9% and now its 25.4%

So its hardly gain any growth in a year, now last three months it's even gettin smaller.

Then iPhone begin of 2011: 7.0% and now 12.8%

So samsung market grow over year has been 0,6% while iPhone grow has been 5,8%!!!

That's huge!

If someone says this is only for US, here's the whole world situation
