What is interesting is this, i searched older stat for same report.

beginning of 2011 samsung share was 24.9% and now its 25.4%

So its hardly gain any growth in a year, now last three months it's even gettin smaller.

Then iPhone begin of 2011: 7.0% and now 12.8%

So samsung market grow over year has been 0,6% while iPhone grow has been 5,8%!!!

That's huge!

friends, wp is exotic but not customizable.android is very customizable.we see different UI available on different devices.so people have plenty of choices.people will get bored of UI after some months and shift to other os when they are using wp.its not the case with android.android is fully customizable.thats the advantage of open source over closed source.we use smartphones everyday and every moment and we need options in our devices and that is where android wins.

1. You know that you Americans never liked Symbian? Well you never did, you always went for WM or RIM.
2. Apple sucks, what lets me say that, this, iOS has been a lot longer than Android and it owns 46.3% market share where iOS has only a lousy 11-12%.
3. Have you Symbian haters seen Symbian forums? Guess not, there is a new mod of CFW every few weeks, but you apple fankids never understood what sharing means, so i guess you can be the smallest group like everywhere: PCs, Tablets, Phones, TVs and etc.
4. I like this one the best, when the 3G came out every mid-high level symbian device had 3G technology for like since 2006(or 2005), anyway Iphone 3g main opponent was a non touchscreen, Nokia n95 8gb(i still have my N81, while it was only a privet compared to the N95 8gb 1man army) which ran quake 3 and had 8gb of memory, and a real screen 2.8inch(biggest screen on a non touch phone), a real 5mp camera, a real music player(i've compared a friends 4s with my N81 sound quality, N81 wins, so logically in sound quality iPhone 4S

So Apple sells 11% of all the phones sold in US and the IOs in the operating system of 29% of all the smartphones sold in the United States.

I want to see how many people uses their phone for calling now... It's not on the chart. The purpose of being a "phone" is long gone... It's just a mini gaming device now.
