Yes, Roy, you are missing the fact that the 11% share refers to all phones (including phones not classified as Smartphones), whereas the 28% relates to Smartphones only.

Well done Apple too! Even in the face of hundreds of competing Android devices, they still manage to hold onto a very sizable chunk of the smartphone market.

Sorry I'm a bit naive. But if Apple has 11% of the subscribers (ie. handsets) how can iOS have 28% market share?

Am I missing something?
