TMach, 09 Mar 2012The SGS2 does not out perform this phone, go and look at the benchmarks. In tests, this phone ... moreLOL, I think you're taking me a little to literal... The GS2 is probably lower in benchmark tests, but to be fair actual customer experience levels out I'd say at a decent dual core...
The main issue is storage - 32gb = 28gb on board storage, and you can absolutely forget 'cloud' storage - which requires a) internet connection b) will drain your battery quicker than anything (data is the biggest drain second to the screen) - it's simply not feasible or practical - especially as some HD photos may be 5-6mbs - imagine trying to upload / download that with your data plan... killer...
My point is there's absolutely no reason for Sony or HTC to start REMOVING features from phones... and because this was announced so early, they've not even put the best screen on it...
Knowing Sony (like they did with the Arc) - you can expect an Experia S+ in 6 months... with additional features... then maybe it'll be worth buying!
rogue_riezo, 09 Mar 2012Really wish we'd get a South African launch date and carrier.Yeah me too! I been delaying my upgrade for over two months waiting for this phone! Sure it will be worth it tho
