UK it's not the first to got it. I live in Lebanon i buy it on 03.03.2012 an i paid 600$ . 50$ less then the Samsung Galaxy S II good for Sony.

prior to this page O2 was already offering the xperia s with 4 NFC tags I know because I ordered directly through O2 on Monday and received it by Tuesday they and they've had them in the O2 stores since Wednesday the 7Th of march

The main issue is storage - 32gb = 28gb on board storage, and you can absolutely forget 'cloud' storage - which requires a) internet connection b) will drain your battery quicker than anything (data is the biggest drain second to the screen) - it's simply not feasible or practical - especially as some HD photos may be 5-6mbs - imagine trying to upload / download that with your data plan... killer...
My point is there's absolutely no reason for Sony or HTC to start REMOVING features from phones... and because this was announced so early, they've not even put the best screen on it...
BUT
Knowing Sony (like they did with the Arc) - you can expect an Experia S+ in 6 months... with additional features... then maybe it'll be worth buying!
