So Samsung has started the strongest phone on the market? I highly doubt it. Samsungs are phone you can easily break with 2 hands. And I bet I can do it with this phone too.

There is a market for this phone, but from a financial standpoint producing a phone like this makes very little sense for the Samsung Corporation.

Bravo Samsung...! Ive waited long for a comeback of rugged, all condition fone...Well, i know it is a basic fone, but its a start!
Previously Samsung produce delicate fones...Thin,fragile and scrath prone fone...Rugged Fone ,Hope it will be the next trend setting, apart from music and imaging!

It's a shame it's dual band. I, and I'm sure most other consumers interested in a rugged and inexpensive cell phone, want one that can be taken around the world. I didn't purchase the motofone because it was dual band, and I'll hold off on this one. There's a huge demand for quad band phones that just make calls and send texts, but can also sustain drops and falls and hold a good battery charge. Oh well. A step in the right direction, however.
