Another purported image of the Samsung Galaxy S III leaks - read the full textIf we got a nickel for every time a supposed image of the upcoming Galaxy S III was found, we would have a lot of nickels. Another one of such images for the Galaxy S III has surfaced but we must say, out of all that we have seen so far, this one seems to be the most convincing. A few...

souldn't title read, "Another image of the purported Samsung Galaxy SIII..."? the image isn't purported (it's obviously there, we can all see the image, it's not purported). the SIII is purported, no? just saying...

If i were Samsung, I will definitely come out with a new design. They should lose the home button, making it looks more futuristic than its predecessor.

Nothing more than Galaxy Note 2, I think GS III should't go over 5 inches screen to be more friendly with finger just like its previous version (GS II),,,,

Regarding the screen size and the five icons at the bottom, its important to note that the its not the size that matters, rather its the resolution. Yes the note has a larger screen but its the 1280x800 resolution that allows for that space to have 5 rows of icons, as opposed to the S2's 800x480 display.

This is evident when you look at the galaxy nexus, which has about the same size screen of 4.65 vs s2's 4.3 but has a resolution of 720x1280 and has the 5 row icons.

So if this picture of the S3 is genuine, then what it is implying that the S3 will have a higher resolution display than the S2. Probably 720x1280 or 800x1280. Possibly even higher.

Okay, so it's a Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.2, now, samsung, WHY MAKE SO MANY DAMN PHONES! It's so stupid. most of your sales are through contracts with phone companies. You only really need to make 3 phones per year. 1 Flagship, 1 mid range, 1 cheap. That's it. Stop wasting time and money. Look what apple do. 1 Flagship. 25% of the market or maybe more. ugh, it's not rocket science, make less models.

I think this is a fake picture. I could look similar to this but it is a fake.

I really dont understand APPLE fanboys - what they expect from sammys designer? should it look like ball or something??? maybe sammy is using apple tactics - they changed nothing compared to Iphone 4.

i dont care about the design while i proudly hold my sgs2 which is still one of the best smartphones on the market after all this months.

I think S3 will beet all rumors and suprise all of us with inovative technology, once again.

Go Sammy!

The article states that the phone wouldnt be able to accomodate 5 icons at the bottom of the screen due to size limitations, but I had ADW Launcher on my original Galaxy S (ie 4" screen) with 5 icons and they were more than adequate in size.
