Nokia makes phones for all markets - from the ultra-cheap, ultra-budget phones for 3rd world countries like India to the ultra-bling, diamond entrusted Vertu phones of millionares (yes, Vertu is a division of Nokia FYI)

Its stupid to say "having a Samsung" implies "at least a decent Android phone":

Samsung's also got cheap feature phones, Dual-SIM phones, Bada phones (Wave models) and good collection of Android flagships.

So does LG.
And Sony.

In fact ALL manufacturers have this range, the only exception being Apple.
So, you can only say, "I have an Apple phone" and sound ridiculous and people know you have an iPhone.
This is not fragmentatin.
