What's the point? Make it into a nano size & then you need a tray to use it. Where is the logic behind this?

whats the point in having a nano sim to save space if you need to put it in a tray to insert it in the phone ;p

Please do not let Apple have their way. A tray just for the nanoSIM? You've got to be kidding me! Where's the logic in that? The reason the nanoSIM is being thought of is to save space. Instead Apple wants to take up MORE space with their stupid SIM tray. And let's not forget you actually NEED a tiny pin just to remove it!

this is ridiculous, the "micro" economy in plastics wont give you place for a big batery, so is ridiculous.
is it more easy no sim at all? like CDMA phones? stop spending money in stupid stuff with no sense.

we already have a tri-sim phone w/ a normal simcard. imagine it w/ nano-sim. quad-sim? hahaha

dual sim would be the standard, leaving enough spaces for whatever hardware the manufacturers would want to put in.

I'm an avid fanboi of android(specially motorola)...not much of a fun of nokia and i'd go against APPLE for my droids anytime of the day but for this... i would have to agree to apple. a small sim would be awkward to hold, insert, remove, using just our fingers. A tray will give comfort specially for those w/ bighand like mine. It's just APPLE is already an airhead w/ bigballs that nokia and the others feel that letting apple have his way on this technology would make apple's balls grow bigger.

micro-SIM literally just cut away some of the useless plastic around the SIM chip and contacts itself - you can buy adaptors that just add the missing plastic.

A new standard that actually provides an advantage would be great - so long as everyone can actually agree on it!

And Apple is playing dirty if it's going to register its own subsidiaries so it can stack the votes in its favour. Savvy business practice, but really bad ethical form.

cant they just stick with one design.. this will be worse than the charger problem. what ever happened to all portable devices having to use only micro usb chargers? its pathetic!
