Hi, I played a lot with it. Best phone on the market. Especially considering multimedia and office functions. The only thing I miss is a touchscreen. Compared with HTC Touch Cruise, multimedia is far better and also VoIP/SIP included and fully integrated. The only better thing HTC offers is the touchscreen. Could be a hard choice.

I love the phone. The only problem i had was the phone kept shutting down. I replaced the battery and now no problems.

I've got the N95 Black (8GB) nearly 2 months now and I'm very happy with it. The only things that annoy me is that it sometimes takes ages for things to load (such as the music player) or that the phone suddenly restarts. For the rest it's a great device :)

@TRUTH
you may Not Knowing that N95 8GB can do many thing that HTC shift cannot do (is there any need to mention that) also it is big and bulky (not fit in u r pocket) and why you r comparing laptop to a Mobile phone if u want to compare than Compare it with big daddy like , DELL XT Tablet PC, FUJITSU UMPC, O2 XDA Flame, Nokia E90, N810, Toshiba G800 etc they can perform almost any thing that HTC Shift can.

Who in the hell started talking here about Shifts? You know, Asus eeePC then would be my choice, if I needed a compact laptop...and I bet it would be much cheaper too :)
BTW, I just can't imagine using the Shift as a cellphone. Just can't :/ And apparently, no one else can too...so again...why did this discussion have to involve Shift?

Oh, a minor typo there. I meant "bought" not "both".

@ TRUTH

You say all these just because you both the "phone"... erm, laptop.

For most people, N95 seems to be the perfect companion to day-to-day needs. Its got camera, internet at HSDPA speed, expandable memory upto 32GB (yup), and all the other goodies in a SMALL package.

Vista? Everyone knows how crappy that OS is! Just stick with Windows XP or Mac OS X.

Yeah, first try to fit Shift and N95 inside your pocket and tell me which one feels better...

Second, stick the Shift with the ear, see if you can handle calls like a phone.

Third, have your superb Shift standy more than 2 days without recharging. See which one die first.

If you're to compare orange with orange, fine. But apples and oranges? Pure ignorant.

the masses think n95 is the best phone ever made. So try using the htc shift. Then come tell me if the n95 is the best there is.

There's ONE particular thing that make Nokia phones top notch - Symbian OS. With OS, you can do MANY things. Well battery life will reduce a lot, but which smartphone/PDA phone doesn't? :)

He he he ! People don't know difference between PDA phone and a smart phone to one who mention about display may not knowing that E90 already had 800x352 4" display i know it is lesser than 640x480 but using high resolution will reduce text size though HTC shift might be powerful but not as portable as N95 8GB and who says Audio is average just spend little more and buy Bose or JBL headsets you will come to know about audio still not satisfied buy N81/W960 better than iPod in audio also N95 has beaten K850i according to GSMARENA, Mobile-review.com, Smape.com, mobile88.com. Dont buy this phone if you don't like but don't post fault information.
