Galaxy Note Android 4.0 update to include special content - read the full textEarlier this year, Samsung had promised a Q1, 2012 time period for the roll out of the Android 4.0 update for the Galaxy S II and the Galaxy Note. But while its younger brother has started receiving the update, the Galaxy Note users are still munching on Gingerbread that is well past its expiry...

Update in Q2 is for international version N7000.
There is and will never be any update for North American LTE version of Note, same like Whole World is enjoying ICS on their SGS2 except North America.

Note has kept it's price unlike the S2 (£400 vs £280 respectively).

Like the look of this a lot. Will trade in 4s for this any day of the week. Apple may be rich, but you cannot beat being able to send a personal note - and to have your kids able to actually write postcards etc to family and friends.

Samsung keeps on finding new justifications to delay the migration to ICS.

They could perfectly release the default ICS firmware now, and release the additional apps later in a minor update.

What is the justification for the delay of the ICS migration on Galaxy S2 in Europe ?

3 more months to wait for this?
Come on Samsung! forget about the useless stylus and hurry up the ICS launch. All we will appreciate it.

The oldest trick in the book:
Make the wait worthwhile by tossing in a few extras.

Works every time.
