Galaxy Note Android 4.0 update to include special content - read the full textEarlier this year, Samsung had promised a Q1, 2012 time period for the roll out of the Android 4.0 update for the Galaxy S II and the Galaxy Note. But while its younger brother has started receiving the update, the Galaxy Note users are still munching on Gingerbread that is well past its expiry...

Someone mentioned Note 2 is that a definite. I currently own the GS2 and even looking at all the phones announced at MWC including the HTC one x. I would still go for the Note. The only phone I am interesting in seeing before I make that purchase is the GS3.

It's good to know we're getting a few extras to justify the delay, but let's be real; the sooner we receive 4.0, the better.

Good one Samsung! As expected update for NOTE is not as easy as it looks ,with the extra abilities NOTE possess. I reckon this should be one of the 'Large' OEM updates on any android device till date.

Adding Angry birds - good move. i guess this is one way to keep the devs engaged, as i have commented earlier in thread y'day.manufacturers should start a community, encourage the devs.
but give us the apps for 'free' .. kidding.

Hope the update is worth waiting!

Darn! And they come with this just when I'm trying to hold my horses for not buying the Note, but the SGS3 instead. Now the Note will look even more awesome to me. Gosh, indecision is certainly killing me!!!

This is taking too long. My Galaxy Note is already on AOKP ICS and I love how it looks. Vanilla Android looks better than Touchwiz.
