Assuming if it will overcome iOS 5.1's questionable power issues and not gimped by a weak batt.

It seems that the decision is a bit crazy. 2:3 display looks bigger than 3:5 or 16:9 display when 2:3 3:5 16:9 display has same inches. I think 4inch is better. Sorry for my bad english.

Didn't they say the iPhone 5 would have a 4" display yeah that didn't happen and neither will an iphone with a 4.6" display. I can see it finally moving to 4" but 4.6" NO. Apple like their devices as small as possible and a 4.6" inich 4:3 display would make the hand set bigger then current Andoids so NO false information and FUD.

I will never buy phone having display smaller than 4.3'.
Currently I'm user of Samsung Galaxy SII - 4.3....
New iPhone 5 is an attractive even to me, user of SII...
Samsung displays have lower brightness level on ''black'', but iPhone screen is brighter !
Good design and possibly good OS.
I would like for good WM, but currently better are Android. It's a pity. In Android for ex. is not so good text copying from webpage to MS Word...
Amazing product is APPLE PC.

3.5 inch screen for girls, 4.0 inch screen for all hands, and 4.6 inch screen for big Mans.

You'll never see an iphone bigger than 4". Apple doesn't like screen size fragmentation. Bigger screen size, the bigger resolution needed to keep the marketing thing called retina.

I know that it's retarded, but with the Apple's current screen aspect ratio something bigger than 4" will look like a square brick.

To prevent fragmentation, Apple needs to double the screen resolution meaning that the next iphone needs 1280 x 1920 which with the current technology is impossible to achieve even on a 4.7" screen.

I wouldn't mind a larger screen, but 4.6 is too much. The 3.5 inch design is specifically to assist one hand operation. I am hoping for a 4 inch screen, and not more.

I have seen the next iPhone and whilst the screen is certainly bigger than the cutrent model I can't say whether 4.6 is accurate or not. What I can tell you is that it will play 3D movies.
