Hi,
I used software update in setting menu to get new update for my phone( I8150). is it difference from value pack update?
it doesn't have the features that are mentioned above, like face unlock or taking picture on video recording mode,
but it works better before I think

face unlock will not bring the demand for galaxy w increase or make any changes. compare to sony ericsion and htc, they try to upgrade average phone in order to satisfied the consumers wants. so, hopefully, samsungs not just concentrate to those phone that built in high tect. and please upgrade this phone.

> In reply to vasan @ 2012-06-07 02:58 from K1IT - click to readthat's a good question..but we're not really sure why W didnt get ICS to me is a good phone. but this value pack was said to help bring the ICS feature to the device that didnt/cant get ICS. so far the only thing cool about it is the face lock

i flash the value pack last night...and to me its still feel the same. dnt get me wrong the new feature are there, like the face lock and other feature but still not feeling 100% like ICS. to me its just 1.1% srry.

if you check Sammobile you can see that the firmware for this phone was released in march and april in other countries but since then the update hasn't been released out anywhere else for some reason.
