AT&T Nokia Lumia 900 taken apart, internals exposed - read the full textThe upcoming Nokia Lumia 900 for AT&T joined the list of smartphones to get the teardown treatment. This time it was TechRepublic, who first got a peek inside the polycarbonate unibody and treated us to a bunch of photos of its internals. There were little surprises to be found inside the Nokia...

I don't rwally get the whole "my smartphone has a billion cores and 1000 GHz" stuff. The main thing isnt the smoothness and uswr experience after all? As i see, besude the clear disadvantage of the less available apps, wp, Symbian and MeeGo are pretty good and smooth doing its tasks. I used a SGS 2 and trust me, it was way wirse than doing the same stuff on my N9. And i mean simple styff, like writing a sms or browsing on the internet.

Thus whole spec fight seems like kids with tgeur dads car fighting to see which one is the best... Totally pointless, since it has no practical effect.

If you envy then make a series of hype of your favorite phone, then put those on your own webpage. After all have freedom of expression.

What is the hype with this phone???

Every day:
NEWSFLASH !!! Nokia L900 price, availability, internals, etc etc ...

This is a mediocre phone, with bigger display than 800 (same resolution so poorer quality), old GPU, shitty battery capabilities, awful OS, etc etc

somebody please illuminate me on why one would be interested in this huge and heavy thing?

Oh please! Windows phone doesn't need all those dual/quad cores, single cores are really zippy on windowsphone.. Besides, most of d pple dat'll buy it don't care about d cores, all dey need is a fast phone, n if d lumia 900 can accomplish dat sans d single core dey'll go for it.. Okay lets look at apple, dey brought a dual core ipad 3(with quad core GPU), dey knew tegra 3(quad cores) tablets will fill d market dis year, but dey still made a dual core one( reason: cause its not important, why make something dats very fast, faster, i see no reason dere)...

> In reply to Nokia Still the best @ 2012-04-04 13:00 from thu9 - click to readI have been using Nokia since the monochrome era, finally switch over to Samsung Android end of last year, Nokia Belle do not meet my expectation compare to even Gingerbread, Window Mango 7.5 is totally a disaster, (Yes i have try out both OS), Perhaps i shall come back to have a second look when Window Apollo & Nokia Carla available, I was delighted when Meego launch too bad Elop decide to killed it.
I have to said the only good thing about Nokia OS is the SatNav Navigation & Messages.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-04-04 12:57 from IV8U - click to readno it wasnt . The build quality till 4 years ago was under low . The so called "high end" products had piss poor quality. Peeling paint , sqeaks , dust under the display , dust on its internals , piss poor quality screens that displayed everything with some strange lines , camera quality was shit all except the camera phones. The OS they used was also old , buggy and outdated . ONly now they started stepping into the real world with refurbished os , better quality handsets.
