Is this Nokia Lumia PureView? We hope not

If they can thin it down a little bit, I could really go for the inverse curve design language, I think the Lumia branding is the strongest thing Windows Phone has right now and the rumored spec sheet here spells good things for the future of Nokia, they still need to try harder though.
Although I'm an Android user first and foremost, I've been using a Lumia 800 for a while now and there's no denying it is trying to do things differently. Tighten up the design and slim it down as best you can Nokia and put a ton of money on it's marketing budget and this thing could make some serious waves.
At the end of the day, tech heads like us are only part of the puzzle and most users don't care how many cores the phone runs as long as it's fluid, looks good has some cool useable features and a decent battery.
2012 is going to be the year of optimization I think. Android ICS is the most polished iteration yet, Windows Phone is maturing and manufacturers need to make sure hardware/software interaction is as tight as it can be and Apple are just going to keep on trucking, breaking sales records and pushing the boundaries within the confines of Apple products. It's all so exciting!

To all nokia fans-
learn to respect every manufacturer's innovations n efforts. Just bcuz u ppl prefer nokia doesnt mean the other brands suck. I myself am a samfan. But dat doesnt stop me from admiring nokia's cam or htc's ui or apples ios (though i hate apple like hell due to its arrogance n cowardice). N stop sayin 'this will b nokia's year n others shud close down'. We fandroids n ifans alike hav been hearing ur phrophecies for the past two years n really none of them came true. Just admire ur own brand n offer a judicious critisizm to others if u must.

If my guess is correct Nokia goal is not to increase its market now, it is planning for future.
Once Windows8 get released for PC/Laptop there will very high synchronization between mobiles and PC/Laptop/Ultrabooks.
Future leading OS for mobile will be Windows..

Frankly I don't care what it looks like if it's got those specs. I was going to get the 808 in a coupe of months, but now I might wait until later in the year for this beauty.
As for the design it looks toy-like in the yellow and pink, but in black I think it'll look just fine.

could it be possible that it has a 3D screen? the curve makes it look possible.
the design is ok if u actually go to look at it. Only drawback is that u'll be getting poked in ur pant pocket area when u sit down.

why you say that guys? what is the problem? i was a nokia fan since i had n82, and i love the way nokia do the job! maybe they would change a bit the design of this phone but generally it's a beautiful phone. if nokia wants to return to battle field by this, let them try. maybe we can jump a leap forward, people always should welcome to new ideas. unfortunately in mobile world everything are the same now!! i want something special like what apple & sometimes nokia and samsung do. good luck nokia, good luck samsung & good luck new ideas...

I just want to ask all the guys who really concern about Processors, tell me 1 thing how many of you really know about the importance of number of processors.
Guys think in real don't go in a fashion way saying "My phone has four processors/ My one has two processors" understand whether it really suits your requirement.
Think practical...

> In reply to Megaintelcorei7 @ 2012-04-06 14:26 from nCc8 - click to readActually, Nokia is yet to release a device that can match up the sheer power of even Samsung's previous generation Galaxy flagship phone and that can truly kill an iPhone. They tried several times in the last couple of years, though, but they failed. And I don't think this supposed Nokia Lumia Pureview will finally be that killer device.

i like it. nokia know how to be original. n9 and lumia 800,900 are the most beautiful smartphones now. and this will be a shock design like nokia did all the time. if it is real, korean trash must close the stores

This is thousand times more hideous than any Samsung phone. I'm sure Nokia can do better than this. Or they must have already lost their sense of creativity and ingenuity when they started making Windows Phones.
