I am using HTC Sensation XE Smart phone. Android version is 4.0.3.
HTC Sense Version is 3.6 .
Software number is : 3.33.707.51
When am i able to get the next update for my phone.
I am living in Qatar.

hai iam using htc sensation 4G...some days before as it shows there is a system update i have installed it....but after that when iam opening my camera the screen will go black fully but the phone is not off...suddenly within seconds the area of slot of sim card and memory card will get started heating so much that the battery will get discharge fully...if iam not opening the camera there is no issues....please please suggest me what to do and help me.....

I have updated my HTC Sensation XE to the ICS. So, after that updation, I didn't get any issue up to now. It works fine. and phone speed also didn't get bad as users comment on web. Sri Lanka

Well till now, no issues with ICS, perfectly all right, but only one issue, am not sure its with ICS or my handset (Sensation XE), when am on skype video chat, after a few minutes, all of a sudden it starts playing a song, any song from the library, and till the time i dont restart my phone, it wouldn't stop. but since i dont use skype that much, so again no worries. may be some other version of ics, in future, might address this problem.

Since yesterday, my phone started restarting by itself. I figured out that this happens once the data connection is ON. If I start using internet or synchronizing, it restarts right away.

This issue is happening since yesterday to a friend of mine at work having the same phone. I don't know if this is a network provider problem or it has something to do with HTC.

Anyone have any idea?

Just bought sensation xe 3 days ago. I got the notify for system update to ics just now.
checking the net seems a lot of bug. Still consider to update my phone

After i upgraded sensation xe with android ics, phone rebooted by itself, showed a prompt to send error report to htc and im unable to turn on wifi or wifi hoptspot since then, written to htc a couple of times, performed factory resets and everything. no luck.. i hope they comeup with a wifi fix soon for the ics..

Just update my XE with ICS last night (indonesia) and found music and radio can't work. Playing music directly from the file but the beats software/ampli can't work as well (beats logo did not appear as ussual).

The update is just crap, I regret that I downloaded the upgrade :(. My HTC ce was very fast now it became very slow and unstable. Really I hope to revert back I start to hate my phone:(

I have upgraded my HTC Sensation XE to ICS (Sense 3.6) yesterday 04/07/12. In fact, about two months ago, when I checked for the update, I was prompted for the update but I ignored it due to some problems reported by other HTC Sensation XE users after the update (WiFi and network issues. Later on I decided to take a chance but the update was disappeared. I tried it yesterday again and got. Updated via my WiFi and thank god everything was good (so far). I have not faced any problems with the WiFi or any other network related functionality. The updated was easy and I felt that phone is very smooth and fast after the update. Will update if there is anything else.

I thought gingerbread was bad, but omg this is buggy! It is almost unusable. Maybe that's a good thing as I use my phone too much???? Now I don't use it as much, which is inconvenient...

Anyhow I guess uptill now all ur problems must be solved. Since WiFi and data connection on off issue got resolved after a mini update from HTC. For settings.
Where as after start up application optimization is normal I guess so I wouldn't worry that much about it.
One more issue in running apps media process keeps crashing and stuck in restarting at its own will and I didn't find ne solution. Only thing I do is manually kill after each restart just in case it's draining my battery.
