Uh Oh, Somebody's about to get pissed again because their phone doesn't have Bug and Glitch Filled ICS. I'm just waiting for that person to show up and they will.

I updated my HTC Sensation 3 days ago. Northwest England. Nothing buggy or unstable about it, apart from being able to pull the notification blind down at the lock screen. Looks good, battery performance may have been decreased.

Updated ICS a few days ago and so far so good. Screen is definitely sharper and everything, including applications are running smoothly. Had to install the latest version of Adobe Flash as is not installed by default. Very pleased although HTC Sense 4.0 would be nice and would be the icing on the ice cream cake.

Mine updated about 3 weeks ago. In the beginning sense always shut down and the other thing i noticed that i have to unlock my phone twice coz the 1st time my screen was blank. It happens till today but not regularly. The good thing is the ics was smoother than the gb.

the best part of the update is the longer battery life. the camera seems to take better pictures with more clarity and better colours.

Got mine in UK two days ago (sim free unlocked). Not many problems for me, phone is much faster than before. Homescreens are super smooth. Ran a few benchmarks - quadrant 2800 ; antutu 5400 ; nenamark2 40 fps! ; browsermark 88k. All in all, very noticable upgrade in speed. Especially graphics, temple runs much smoother than before.
Only minor issue is the browser, which sometimes lags a bit when double tap zooming.
Hope this helps people.:D

I confirm OTA update to ICS for HTC Sensation in Romania. The software seems stable, has a few new integrated apps (notes, tasks), and Settings include now Usage Data. The most obvious and percieveable improvement (for me, as average user) is in the whole system speed response: better auto-rotation response, faster loading times of system and apps. Also, seems a slightly improvement upon battery consumption, but no wonders.

However, I strongly recomend a backup before update. In my case, due to a misundertanding between Bitdefender app and the SD card, the Sense UI started a loop of errors and restarts, that did not end until i removed the card. Afterwards i performed a factory reset and put back the card and all backed up info and apps and everything is ok and smooth. Most likely this happened due to the multitude of different apps and developers on market (i have about 300 apps on it).

How much RAM is it using when all applications are closed? And how much was this before the update?

I got my update a week ago for my Sensation XE in Pakistan. It is running bug-free and I now have a reason to stick with my Sensation instead of taking the jump to One X anytime before December. I absolutely love everything about it, all changes made are more than welcome.
