I bought this phone about 2 months ago, and I love it! However, when a receive messages, it only displays the number and not the contact name even though the sender is in my contact list. I was wondering if anyone knows how to solve this problem. Thanks.

well a painter that gets his art on LG phones is an artist, obviously. use your common sense.

Why do people refer to keith harrington as a graffiti artist!! He is just a painter no more no less. dont sully the raw art that is graffiti with some old guy who used to paint on walls.

This is a great idea especially in terms of current/power consumption. The larger display can be turned ON when you really need it. Let's say the phone is in sleep mode, and suddenly a calls come through? all you need to alert the user is via the small display.

I think the LG KU990 Viewty will be a bigger success than this...

wouldnt it be better to just move the call and end buttons onto the front touch screen? in fact, wouldnt taking the whole touchscreen off and replacing it with buttons be better? its the key design factor of the phone but have we really gotten to the point where the looks of anything is more important than functionality? and ive heard of badge engineering, but within the same brand? this should just be called venus 2 or something!

A friend of mine has the LG Venus which is basically the same thing and there are only a few flaws that I saw like that the touchscreen has enough lag to start bothering you and that the front fascia of the phone is completely flat and shiny (so opening it without touching a screen and also trying not to leave fingerprints would be quite an accomplishment). it looks as good as the venus with its delicate, unaggressive feel and is possibly better since the keypad is separated and so there is back lighting. this is mostly for those who want a visually appealing phone as well as your regular load of features like a camera(probably 2.0 MP), Micro SD slot, etc. Personally, I would rather get the more aggressive Samsung U600. It is also a slider phone and has touch elements to highlight the front of the phone. a sleek screen and form are complimented by the large variety of colors that it comes in and the camera is outstanding quality at 3.2 MP and all of it comes in a thin, 12 mm package.

A full touch screen guys, would make it just like another Prada or Viewty phone...yep, atm I think its all about Identity for LG.
Plus if no one has noticed, LG still just makes "phones", standard calling, txting, occasional browsing, now the added feature of a camera for recording and photography...still nonetheless, a comfortable mobile. Not a "Multimedia" device.
To my knowledge there is only one smartphone they have created of recent, and that's the KS20. Look up on it and judge for yourselves.
To me, this KF600 looks like a winner. For the majority of the phone using world, note, I said "majority", it is all about a Good Camera, music playback, and general usability - any thing else is deemed a bonus. I can see this phone definitely reaching out the younger generations with its sleek looks and packed features.
Feel all positive vibes for this phone, because really and truly, you can't stump it on its disadvantages when it hasn't been released (unless it really looks difficult to use, or doesn't look nice at all, which it does!); you can only see the positive potential it may have...So tell me, do you think it will be another huge seller-fashion-icon like the Prada, or a small rich clique of owners like the Viewty (200,000 released in Europe)or just another terrible faulty firmware of a phone like the Chocolate?
