u got a phone so thin and sleek but after some use it breaks... i dont think htc is trying their best in testing their phones... using ceramics is a bad idea... exposing in high temp. result is breakage... the thing is CERAMIC... yo

It SHOULD be covered under DOA is the box is opened in store and the fault is recognised then. As soon as the phone leaves the store, it is considered ELF, so long as it is returned to the store within the ELF period. The DOA time frame is from when the phone is opened WITHIN the store to when the phone leaves the store in the customers hand.

Exagerating features on non-fully tested products. One way to shoot yourself in the foot

The HTC One S' hardware is working perfect and there are no issues at all, and was just the ceramic cover, but as any production line there are always issues however HTC has been responsable and gave it's customers a solution, something that Apple needs to take note of instead of inventing excuses like they did with the iPad 3 heating issues.
I'm glad to own an HTC One S.

So if this comes after 14 days it is no return(DOA) policy from HTC?
They should have one month DOA for production fault like this!

the phone looks really nice. Its different from the other cookie cutter htc design. Its a refreshing design, following nokia lumia design. Curved glass, polycarbonate body. Except the build quality the build qualify isnt as good as the lumia. Anyway htc is getting with the device and hopefully it could be on par in terms of success with the likes of galaxies, lumias and iPhones
