Yeh I would like to see a slider that doesnt slides up manully but the keypad slides down with the touch of a button. Not sure if anyone is working on it. As of now I have seen a concept slider design that has touchscreen keypad. Nokia is working on a clamsheel that has two screen (bottom one being touchscreen). Samsung already developed dual LCD that works as 2 screens and its thin too. May be we will see them implemented in cellphone soon. Sony is working on flexible LCD so that you can bend your cell phone in future. Well that much I can think as of now.. Can you think of anything original!!!

i would be interested to see whether the gps is just network based like the n95, or if its actually built in like the 6110 so its free to use. if it is built in, samsung are definately onto a winner.

K it's good to have what to choose from, but what I want from the company is not only to make competitors to others, but to create smthin new, that others would need to borow the idea. I'd just like them to be original, not to copy.

if this phone is as good as the specs mentioned, it might be crowned as a true "iphone killer". Even the o.s. suggests its going for the title ha ha

i don't understand what's so bad about borrowing ideas from one another? its not like they're all producing the identical product, each has make improvements on their own products which give us, the customers, more choices to choose from at a much more competitive pricing. some people are so shallow and just can't see beyond that...

day to day these phones become more and more boring! Prada, Armani, now this... Everyone is copying each other. That's why i switched to 8800SE and plan to go for arte. No functions on 88 series but at least it's still original design

I wansn't using my samsung rougly, after some time keys just stoped working, not all of them but some and in winter when it got colder it started turn itself off:/ thats my phone, read about the other slim samsung devices and user comments. LG PRADA, thatone is also working without a stylus, and it was released earlier. Besides everyone is working on their UI's.

Sorry if you got me wrong. I didnt mean those touchscreen phones with stylus. I'm talking about the new touch screen devices where you dont need a stylus and get heptic feedback. I dont think you had that before. am talking about Croix UI. It was released last year february.
Its not just U series. In last few years Samsung invested heavily on trimming down there devices and all of them has a thin profile. I do know how to take care my phone. Some brick sized Nokia is there for rough use. Not Samsung.

Windows Mobile 6? Why not Symbian instead? More user-friendly interface and more multitasking, and much less freezing.
@ someone who said Win Mobile is cool
You can also overclock CPU speed in Symbian devices. You can also use RAM boosters. Symbian is just as good as Win Mobile, if not better.
