If only it came with a decent OS.

Someone step up to the challenge and give us a GOOD cameraphone with a Xenon flash and Android, please?

It has lots of excellent I/O that simply cannot be found on other camera phones. Build quality is one of the best. Good hardware. Good genes. Good pedigree. It is an engineering feat.

I can't believe that someone is talking such crap like you! And btw it has of course an gpu (and also an additional one for camera processing), how do you think should the device be able to come around with such big pictures and 1080p recording..?
But who cares the fact how many cores it has etc - the fact is that the 808 is an amazing phone with breathtaking feautures (and it handels it smoothly!!) so you can leave all your multicore-cpu devices at home!!
And please inform the next time before you blame yourself!! ;)

But why buy one if you know there are so many limitations? Is a camera THAT important?

Surely it'd be best to get an 18 month contract or something and then next year go for Apollo! ;)

Nokia also have brilliant radios and superb build quality 90% of the time..I just had to say that because everyone is bashing NOkia but they are not that bad..I have grown up with Nokia smartfones and dumbphones its just at this moment they are in a slump..BB is also in a slump but things change..

BB is going QNX and W7 is new and fresh..Its IOS that will go stale and drop out of favour(it already is)and suffer..Even Android will reach its end just like Palm and Windows 2003/2005/6.0/6.1 did..

Apple goes stale and out of favour,,i like that. :-)
