Os is one of the primary attractions to any brand. But as android is run by so many brands that the only way they can compete is by upgrading the hardware n features section. If they fail to do so then naturally, the crowd will shift towards another brand without compromising the software department.

I think Samsung should be very careful here. Samsung owners are not as loyal to their brand as Apple owners are.

I for one would choose any phone over the SGSII without hesitation any day of the week if it turns out to be a better "deal" than the SGSII.

Apart from the incredibly stingy internal storage space (16GB what are they thinking!?!) I think the SGS2 is a good phone but I'm in no way whatsoever "loyal" to the Samsung brand and have no qualms about switching over to HTC, LG, HP, Asus or Dell if they manage to produce a better phone.

So, if they think they can learn by "Apple's" mistakes with the over-hyped iphone 4S and be able to "pull an Apple" they are terribly mistaken and the SGS3 is bound to fail.

a 4.7 screen is not a 4s style upgrade

If the S3 does look like the leaked photos released. Then I shall be extremely disappointed. Samsung should know better than to follow in Apple's footsteps. They're better than that.

There is so much wasted space on the top, bottom and sides. With edge to edge display it's going to be the best phone design. But as of now, I can't bear to see that small screen with so much of wasted space.

The point is, it doesn't blow the current gen phones out of water. This is just like how other high end 2012 will be. And what are you losers talking about Nokia Pureview? Apart from the camera what else does it have? Outdated(and dead) OS. You wont find any APPs. Low resolution screen in this HD world, low RAM and the list has no end. With a One X or S3 you could be assured hundreds of thousands of Apps, and you could updates for close to 2 years!
With Nokia you'll be stuck with dead belle which is already outdated. Go get a DSLR if you photography is so important for you loser!

Samsung will disappoint their fans that they've won over the last few years !
And to be honest if the s3 it's BIGGER then the s2 THERE WOULD BE NO CHANCE in upgrading my s2, even if i would love the 4g ...

You just gotta love the daily random rumours plucked out of thin air for stuff like this, guess it gives someone a kick seeing the panic and turmoil they generate.
Apple have become what they are by sticking with one form factor (the biggest to fit in the average human hand). This just isn't how Samsung do things, every year they might have the same case but scaled up a bit but will essentially be a carbon copy of the same model from the year before. In fact no one apart from Apple makes their handsets look the same for five consecutive generations of the device.
Samsung's way forward in the world market is to push the boundaries of one of the things they do VERY well, and that is making smartphones. The HTCs,Motorolas,Nokias,Sonys,LGs etc etc of this world make significant changes every year and snap up new technology as soon as they can get their hands on it,Samsung would NEVER rest on their laurals and say "lets have a bit of a rest this year,we'll catch up in 2013" would they?
