It's exactly a minor update to the SGS2, but nothing interesting, cos the real performance diff is marginal from 2 to 4 cores.
Samsung fails harder recently.

Well it has to at least match that of the ONE X and if we get a 12mp camera and better battery ill be happy with that.

If this news is true i am buying Nokia 808 and Samsung beam(the new one)..At this moment i am not impressed but this is still a RUMOUR./

Quad core, 4.7 inches screen? Are the minor updates? Well what is big update sII brought over galaxy s? 1gb ram, dual core processor and 4.3 inches screen. Oh stop it man. Its gonna be a major update cuz quad core and EXYNOS gonna kick evryone outta the game. Hope for a mali 604 . I dont think octo core version of a mali 400mp will boost over iPhone 4s and new ipad. This is a major update. Samsung is not apple

If this happen the I'm fully waitting for the Moto Razr HD especially if it's comes with the same Battery than the Razr Maxx and of course the water proof and the build quality.

I think this rumor is likely to be true.
because that`s the strategy of samsung in making phones.
Like what they did in wave 1,2 and wave 3 forexample.
I think SIII won`t have the impact that SII did...
however it well sell good.

I believe a more in FullHD rather than camera to keep track of where your eyes.

I think many consumers right now are just wanting to know about the battery, if they throw in a 1650 or 1800 in it then we the buyers that purchased the s2 will not buy the s3
