I expected a new 5mp phone. Would have liked that, I love my K850i, it rearly makes a bad shot. (everyone who says the shots are dark shouldn't hold their fingers in front of the light sensor)

Quote from the news text:
"...Since there are a lot of comments going around if this phone is a Chinese fake, we can assure you that it's the real deal, as we've seen an actual working prototype of the device..."

Oh, its so ugly, I did not wanted to see this on beautiful Monday morning… I hope this is a joke.. Or I am starting to think that SE hired the same designer who got fired from VK Mobile for designing 4100 model.

I am a serial SE buyer. I do hope this is a fake. Where are the
new Wi-Fi phones? I am ready to buy a Nokia E51 or the the rumoured E66. Please SE, stop me, and probably many others.

This is the most ugliest phone ive ever seen in my life.
I bet the camera will be just as useless as K850i camera.
If you want cameraphone GO FOR N95 or N82

SE prototypes do tend to be in odd colours, remember the W900i, that was yellow.
It does look like it's built on the K770i hardware, looks very similar, especially the key layout. I do like the funky rear case lock.

Maybe I´m wrong, but this quite-lookalike-some-chinese-cheap-crap really doesn´t look like a Sony Ericsson product. Looks too cheap and the colors are very ugly. In case I´m wrong, for sure SE´s designers and engineers are losing their way into making good looking devices.

I also agree that since the S500/P1i there has been little innovation coming from SE and the quality of their new phones hasn't been great w/almost endless 2mpx cam phones. This one doesn't look great quality either. The best one after the P1 is probably the W890 but even that seemed slow and lacking when I tried it. It pains me to say that because I really enjoy SE's older handsets and I love my w710i/k800i.
