Nokia Lumia 900 launch pushed back to May, blame US demand - read the full textIf you are one of those waiting for the international launch of Lumia 900, we have some disappointing news. According to a Nokia’s spokesman, the Lumia 900 will launch in the UK on May 14 as opposed to previously expected April 27. The reason is reportedly very simple – the high demand for Lumia...

There is little out there that actually costs more, let alone offers less for that price. Even a Galaxy Note is more cheap to obtain. Saying that Galaxy SIII (out in a month or so) supposedly is going to compete with WP8 based phones is somewhat silly too. By the time WP8 really hits the market, Galaxy SIV or whatever other flagship phone will be available soon enough.

BTW I also have galaxy note, and my old galaxy S, but nothing can match the speed and fluidity of WP7 lumia 800. Great job Nokia! !! Also, Lumia 800 is my first phone from Nokia and its amazing.... !!!

Gud luck from INDIA

> In reply to Andy @ 2012-04-25 16:37 from YMsH - click to readNo doubt about it. Survey says people, not the forum geeks, are NOT happy with Android and are willing to try something better. The number is close to 50% and WP needs to take this opportunity to attract those unhappy Android users.

Android isn't what the geeks make it out to be. It's not user friendly, it's buggy, power hungry, and malware ridden. It's the worst mobile OS and it's way overhyped.

The Lumias will prove themselves as Android killers in a few months and the fandroids will be shaking their heads and asking "what happened?". Yes, Android's decline is near.

why you people comparing lumia 900 with galaxy s3,for price of lumia 900 you cant get a better phone.
Nokia will answer galaxy s3 with windows 8 phones.
Android fanboys can start talking after that.

> In reply to Nokia Fanboy PRO @ 2012-04-25 14:47 from kJq6 - click to readKeep dreaming. Nokia is only a shadow of what it once was. It has no smartphone to compete with the top android/iOS smartphones. Even though I like Lumia 900 very much, it's still lacking a few things. We're not even sure whether it will get WP8 upgrade or not and I don't want to waste my money on something stuck on soon to be old software

> In reply to Nokia Fanboy PRO @ 2012-04-25 14:47 from kJq6 - click to readSGSIII DOA due to the Lumia 900? What about the Lumia 900 being sold out, just because Nokia had little faith (not strange after the 800 and lower models) in it and therefor produced only a 'small' amount. Next to that, there is plenty of people that will stick to Android over WP7.5 no matter what, so how would the 900 cause other OS phones to be DOA?

The 900 is pretty much the first Windows Nokia that at least lives up to the modern specs a small bit, albeit it still is behind on quite some levels. It still is a pathetic phone, compared to the N9 for example. Giving up on Symbian before they actually had a good replacement already going was not very smart, and Nokia will feel that in the upcoming quarters, where it is very likely that the smartphone marketshare will only drop further.

> In reply to ^_^ @ 2012-04-25 14:05 from HvX$ - click to readThe Galaxy S 3 will be DOA because of the Lumia 900. Nokia is concentrating on the US and the SGS 3 will have a tough time competing against it. Samsung will soon find itself in trouble just like RIM, LG, Sony, and HTC.

Nokia is set to conquer the US market with the Lumia 900.
