The MSM7227A is a Snapdragon S1 ARMv7 processor.
Not to be confused with the MSM7227 ARM11 processor.

Yes, thank you Sony just add more insult to my purchase of SGS1:
"SGS1 does not meet the minimum requirements for ICS."
Wish I didn't go the Scamsung way! :/

There are no MSM7227 Snapdragons, are you sure it is an entry level 800MHz Snapdragon (ARMv7 based) and not a 800MHz MSM7227T (ARMv6 based) CPU?

from what I've read.. ST21 means :
S : small
T : touch, if it's K means physical keyboard
2 : '12 xperia line up
1 : very basic from 1 to 9
and that means it's small size xperia family, with only touch screen (no keyboard), from 2012 xperia line up with the very basic functionality.
that's why my WT19 spec from 2011 line up still better than this one.. (W stands for walkman)

Bart you look like tense entry level phones doesn't have a 1ghz chip because it's for people who wanted to experience android at the cheapest possible way.
Tell me why didn't samsung put a 1ghz chip at the galaxy y huh!

"ICS" made me go blank, so I looked in your Glossary but there's no definition. In fact, I've run into this not-in-glossary issue before so, perhaps you could update (and keep updated) this essential reference and keep us more connected.

I think it's a bad idea to put it side by side with XS, so the colour saturation looks really bad on that photos.. it's looks so pale just like seeing mix walkman display.. that color of the cosmic flow theme.. what color is that? sapphire, silk or turquois? my live walkman display color saturation even without bravia engine is still better than my previous x8.. so this phone should has at least the same display lcd as live walkman!

Good, the price is $100 right?
Even a single $ above is useless to buy this phone.

@Bart this phone is designed as an entry-level device below the likes of the xperia active and its siblings its targeted to those who use no fuss feature phones and as such dont expect thin or powerful phones btw many old entry level android phones will appreciate the existence of this phones and much more if sony is generous enough to release sources
