GDT, 03 May 2012how can you compare the modified version of touchwiz with anything?? it hasnt even been released!!I have eyes, enough demos/screenshots/hands-ones appeared already ...plus this is a minor improvement over the TouchWized ICS for Galaxy SII that has almost a month since official release. :)
Should be enough since i'm not trolling/ fun-boying or whatever.
The camera spec is a little disappointing and surely they could do better than a first gen super amoled unit. I was happy when I had the first Galaxy S though so I will reserve judgement until I've had some personal experience of it.
DarkStar, 03 May 2012It kind of reminds me of the old Motorola Pebl, and that's not a good thing.reminded me of the Htc sensation XL. would've been a good thing, had it not been for that shining plastic back.
I feel sorry for every samsung specs fanatic fanboys which i'v been seeing so much after sgs2.
Samsung clearly have changed strategy with sgs3, they are not doing phones for you anymore, this phone is meant for average joe. It doesnt have huge numbers and great speclist which you can drool.
Its kind a boring phone actually. Also samsung is doing Apple commercial which are emotional and not tech style.
my g2x looks better than that, no 1700 band so no update for me, dualcore is enough, anyways...
NOTHING SPECIAL, BORING!

1st- of all this is a phone not a pro-camera.
2nd- Quad core its needed on android bc t... moreHTC ONE X doesn't have dual core. It has quad-core processor.
Only the American version HTC ONE XL has duyal core processor because Tegra 3 doesn't suport LTE chips.
best hardware compiled and stuffed into crap , why do samsung make phones look like jokes
It kind of reminds me of the old Motorola Pebl, and that's not a good thing.
cnick, 03 May 2012One X has it's features too. Sense compared to TouchWiz(even the improved one) is mind blowing... morehow can you compare the modified version of touchwiz with anything?? it hasnt even been released!!
GDT, 03 May 2012Do you even know what trolling is supposed to mean??? that guy ahmed egypt is the one who has ... moreHonestly, for me design looks good too but the materials turn me down, they always did. Look just at some cheaper Samsungs with better build quality(Wave 3 for example)
If it wasn't for that and TouchWiz that still needs to be refined, I would chose an Samsung smartphone anyday.
Samsung should take a page or two on design and build from HTC and Sony.
I wont say Apple because apparently Samsung has already ripped the Apple design book into pieces. With nothing left to copy, heres what they've come up with!
Blankman, 03 May 2012I'm of mixed opinion here on build design. Plastic makes the phone lighter and is quite durabl... moreIts all about how it feels in the hand. Both my dad & mom currently using Samsung smartphone. Both the handset are good performer but doesn't look or feel like you are holding a premium set, especially when the screen is off. Plain Plastic is not better than Nokia's poly carbonate unibody shell which also is plastic but u know how it feels in hand. Gorilla Glass 2 is definitely good but till now i haven't got any advantage of Gorilla Glass 1 in my practical life.

So, I'm not speaking about One X camera as a bad camera(to be honest, and I may be wrong I saw a rainy day shotout and to me photos looked better than Xperia S ones)but nor as one that would beat the sht out of Galaxy SIII one. I don't know about the aperture and those techical stuff but feature wise they both have so marketed burst shot and photo capture in video recording mode.
