Like my colleague always says "at&t s*#ks" and I disagree with him every time. Nowadays I feel the same wasy like him. I own a skyrocket and waited for 6 months since the galaxy s2 international launch. Additional to that, Galaxy Nexus wasn't launched in at&t and now the skyrocket HD becoz of s3 announcement. at&t is always 6 months behind compared to international versions and with the 2 yrs contract, we are pushed to have an outdated technology at any given point of time.

Cause the lumia 900 have outsold the skyrocket , they stopped selling it so samsung could keep it self alive , lumia 900 have sold over 2 mill units in one month FULL STOP..

I was wondering when a situation like this will surfaced, SAMSUNG has launched 25+ handsets over the last 6months and they may be innovative with some but the problem with that is for each handset that is launched its shelf-life is like 2-4 months.
They were adamant to sell the most smartphone to outdo NOKIA but seriously they are outdoing themselves.
APPLE launch one handset a year and has the second most in smartphone market share on the other hand, SAMSUNG have created a market that needs constant improvement and innovation but seriously with the desire of humans can there ever be enough????
This model dies before it starts selling. There will be a few more, start taking note!

Why are smartphones so drab now. Every phone in every manufactures line-up has a 4-inch screen and 3 or 4 soft keys. Gimme a break... If Jobs were here (God rest his soul) i'm sure he'd be going in a different direction. Come on guys, time to get creative! I hope BB doesn't fail even tho it's highly likely... SMH

Too bad. Wouldn've been a really cool device. Great specs and great looks. It's a shame actually. They should've released it much sooner.

That's a good point. The Vibrant/Captivate/Mesmerize Galaxy S's, Thunderbolt, Bionic, Astound C7. T*Mobile is the worst about it, with 'My ThisThat' Verizon stuffing all of the Android under one Branding 'DROID.' Sprint really doesn't pull that crap and AT&T doesn' go to far with it, but does do it like the Inspire/Desire S.

This has nothing to do with the mobile itself, but I have a question that has always been on my mind. Why do American networks get the same mobile phones but with weird names? Evolution, Rocket, Pinky Winky...bla bla bla?
Is it because it's easier for lovely Americans to say Skyrocket instead of Galaxy SII?
