when will this confusion end? I believe the ICS update was said to be released on the 15th instant in my region. Disappointingly, still there's no update available in Bangladesh. Can someone please give a reliable date for the ICS update in Bangladesh. Thanx.

I'm familiar with JB and everything else on iphone however I'm novice class on android. Do you think you are able to teach me how to flash and install the german ROM? > In reply to kel @ 2012-05-14 13:32 from vj1R - click to readI think it's being rolled out by region... Since Germany got the first bite of ICS, most probably all Samsung Galaxy Note that came originally from UK will get the update automatically by KIES.
My GT-N7000 originally came from UK but I got it here in the Philippines, probably the reason I got the update sooner. I have a friend with the same phone, but an ASIAN version and he's still not getting ICS.

Morning guys, I opened Kies on my macbook just now and I got very excited as pop-up window appeared indicating that there was a Kies update. I did the updated and another pop-up window appeared asking if I wanted to transfer a backup from my iPhone! BTW, still not ICS.

My GT Note has no upgrade so I am not sure what others in Australia have updated. Mine is an XSA version. If anyone has updated this version please let me know. By the way KIES really sucks not very smart or user friendly. Nokia Suite is so much more user friendly and has lots of features..Samsung learn from Nokia in this regard.

This is getting really annoying now. I was planning to sell the NOTE and then ICS comes along - thus I delay selling the handset yet no update arrives. The anxiety of just waiting is drowning me.

samsung always mess up firmware updates look at the first galaxy s,its a case of were huge your not so you get it when we decide the s2 has ics and the notes a bigger version of that basically so if you dont mind samsung and google taking your cash and sticking the middle finger up at you carry on buying their products im not an iphone fan but apples updates are ran far smoother.....
