Seriously all you ifans need to calm down, and the end of it the big companies are all making profit and of course eating out of your pocket too, think twice about buying a phone and think about that money in a years time when another phone is released. If you can afford it then thats fine if you cant dont even think about it!

And no, if the OS is sucky, it will never have high market share despite 1000 carriers and 10000 phone manufacturers with 100000 models to choose from. Thats the fate with Symbian. You can launch a million models and it still can't hold a candle to Android or iOS market share.

Android is free everywhere doesn't mean that it's the best OS.

Sometimes it isn't fair to compare Android to iOS.
iOS just used by iPhone and iPad. But Android is there for HTC, Samsung, LG, and other manufacturer. Of course Android will have more users.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2012-05-15 23:02 from p77u - click to readNokia Lumia 900 has the best customer satisfaction ratings. Siri said Lumia 900 is the best phone ever. Apple fixed it, but if you ask Siri "According to customer satisfaction, what is the best phone ever", it will still say the Lumia 900. Windows Phone is taking over Amazon top rated phones even with just a couple phones. HTC Trophy was also in top 2 before they stop selling it.

Was this meant to show me something horrible within the android market?

> In reply to emonk @ 2012-05-15 19:57 from gDkA - click to readandroid is free which means that google doesn't have to charge a manufacturer twice if it reuses the same code. once the manufacturer receives the source code of android the manufacturer can reproduce as many android devices as it wants without paying as much as the number of devices produced. on the other hand, manufacturer pays windows with every copy of windows phone os and so is apple pricing every copy of ios to their very own device. in other words, when you buy an android device, you buy the hardware while ypu get the spftware free. when you buy windows phone and iDevice you pay the manufacturer for both the harware and software.

iPhone a 'Game Changer' for Customer Satisfaction

In its first appearance in the rankings, Apple easily topped the list with a score of 83, outdistancing Nokia, LG, and HTC in a tie for second place at 75. Apple's performance marks the first time a mobile phone company scored above 77 in any of the group's surveys dating back to 2004.

At 83, Apple’s iPhone is a game changer when it comes to customer satisfaction. No other cell phone company has ever broken into the 80s.

Apple shows who's the number one :)
