Sexy looks, nicely specced, but still it feels kind of outdated. Maybe agressive marketing have put some blinders on me, but at any competitive price for the US I think this will still look over priced.

Where do you have that info that the Sony logo will act as notification light? There is already one on the top of the device right next to the camera.
According to an insider, the Sony logo (international version) will be on top and the Xperia at the bottom

Keeping the logo on the bottom keeps the phone consistent across carriers. They'd rather replace the Xperia logo than the Sony logo.

> In reply to Rambo @ 2012-05-17 16:49 from LBby - click to readSony's announced its first two LTE-capable
phones for its Japanese customers -- and there's
two of 'em. The Xperia GX is up first, with a
720p 4.6-inch display squeezed in alongside a
new 13-megapixel camera -- a first for Sony's
mobile family, and presumably its new CMOS
sensor . A 1.5 GHz dual-core processor ensures
it should all tick along nicely, while the hardware
design follows the curves of last year's Xperia
Arc , this time with a matte finish. The camera
upgrade and huge screen makes a good case for
this to be Sony's new flagship device

Liking this phone the more I see it, Sony should bring this to the US instead of the Ion.
