That shows that all units shipped have actually sold. Its easy for compento say we have shipped 40 million units but this does not represent units sold.If these new units with ICS already onboard are showing up the units before them have sold..I think its getting towards 40 million SGS2 sold.

I agree with Pooja,
ICS is still not available in INDIA. I have been waiting since the time ICS is rolled over rest of the world...
Samsung is launching galaxy s3 in india but for galaxy s2 users no ICS update till date very much injustice and unfair play from samsung.

> In reply to Pooja @ 2012-05-21 12:14 from v{RT - click to readSamsung keeps us waiting... waking up everyday..every hour checking samkies twitter a/c for those words, "INU/INA= I9100 XXxxxx...." ...
Did that for around three months, finally went to XDA developers forum and flashed the UK ICS ROM. Its working fine for me and should work for anybody if they follow the instructions... Although it is only advisable for experienced users and DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK as it will probably void your warranty...
So if you are brave enough...don't wait for lazy Sammie... Go to XDA developers and "Just do it"...
Enjoyeee ICS

Recommend you keep Gingerbread until Samsung sort this out.

Nothing but stupidity. They can't get the official ICS update to the existing lot and now they come up with in the box stuff. Which means, all the existing owners and those who are going to buy the Gingerbread run S2 in future are not going to get the official ICS anymore. H3ll with Sammy and it's phones. Now I think the S3 will also be facing the same when JellyBeans comes out. Sammy is loosing it's credibility even when it's in the process of gaining it. The HTCs and Apples might be enjoying this...sic.

> In reply to [deleted post]please check the link you have given... it is not original firmware... read the disclaimer... and if you download that your warranty is void... another way to download is root you phone by changing the country to NPL and download it and after that changed to IND... but i want proper one for indian customer.. not any other way...

Guys, if you are expecting an update from Kies or OTA then you are in for a long wait. You can upgrade your SGS2 to ICS using Odin software. Google it for more details.

I have two SII's and both were updated OTA a few days ago. Feels like I have new phones. Thanks Samsung. I will be in Europe in June and will also buy the SIII.

the ics update has not come to india yet and the new handset of s2 with april 2012 does not come out with ics update out of the box.. and when new another handset will come for s2 is doubt full as s3 is scheduled to be launched by june 2012 in india... so dont go by saying with gsmarena in this one as it will and it is not a confirmed story.
