HTC Explorer could have run all the latest software if Desire C could. At least Blackberry have legit reasons when they don't update.

In this regard, Samsung should consider themselves worse. HTC is sending ICS updates to phones released in 2010 (wow!) but Samsung gave up on its Galaxy S which was also released in 2010 and has identical H/W specs.
Either it's Samsung or these service providing companies that are hindering it.
Customer Satisfaction is almost zero with Samsung. Kudos HTC.

Desire HD was released in Sep 2010, it's a year and a half "old". the desire S and incredible S are newer than the dhd and they have the same hardware :) the handsets aren't OLD at all, it's just the manufacturers and technology who bring new handsets very fast :)

Well done HTC, well done. So now HTC and Sony carry the flag for OS updates. If you're not planning to buy a flagship, then you should definitely go with them. If the top notch phones are your aim, you can also consider Samsung along with them.
