Well done Elop, you've just destroyed Nokia in one quick swoop. Now go back to Microsoft and rot in hell.

Dude, I love my N8. But I'm too frustrated just because the OS. It's not my fault! When I bought it didn't have the Lumia series yet. Are Nokia supposed to make me buy a Lumia? No way.

i just bought Nokia 603 last week. An update to my 4 year old N73 ME.and i feel it as a good choice for another 3 to 4 year. By that time the OS war might be over. And windows phones will be as flexible as symbian and android.i mean they will come out of the fear of virus, hacking, battery life issues and above all the need for super computer chips in mobile devices.

Oh well... here goes the transition from my N8... SGS-III or HTC One X.... more likely S3, unless Apple relented and included SD card support (which is doubtful) otherwise I'd be joining the sheep crowd (at least it would be seamless with my mac). Nokia has already killed their cash cow, so why try to reverse that now ? Just be done with it !

It's pretty stupid to be Stephen Elop. I bet symbian would find it's way to users if some of fancy features would be included, like HD screen support.
Nokia has shown it's been sold to Microsoft even a year ago.

First with Meego's N9 flagship, then the 808. It's not looking too good for Nokia.

Well, I'm buying an 808 as soon as it is available in Portugal. I don't care what the OS is, that PureView camera will replace my compact.
Although I am really glad the 808 IS Symbian, because it gets much, much, MUCH better battery life than any iOS/Android/Windows phone.
And there is Endomondo for Symbian, so all my needs are covered :) :)
