Has anybody receive the update for xperia arc SI Number 1247-0400. I was checking my device through latest sony companion, still it says u have the latest software.....

Make sure that you have the latest version of Sony pc companion and if you do play it safe and download it again

I have xperia Arc. SI Number is 1247-0400. still no update. when i complain about this to sony customer support, they are no responding AND they have deactivated my sony Account. very shame of u sony

just to let all know that my Arc SI's also wasn't in the list, but I was able to update it via PC Companion. Im from the Phils and is really glad ive updated. Now my phone runs smoother than GB with more RAM and ROM. Didn't noticed any lags. I was able to keep all my apps. only issue is my Go Locker ICS theme got a little messy. The date was pushed so far to the right that you can't see it anymore. I still think sony did a good job here. Can't wait for further updates and enhancement.

then i tried to check through PC suit to says update available ... and i accepted it after few minutes i got ICS in my xperia arc.

Hey you guys I just got android 4.0.4 on my xperia arc I didn't find my si number in the list but when I plugged in my phone it showed that the upgrade was available so I suggest you try the Same and don't worry about the lag u don't even notice it

At last my Xperia Arc get update to ICS (Android 4.04), its better than Gingerbread (Android 2.3.4), interface very smooth, icon looks very cool, battery life more increase,overall phone performence much better. ICS rocks yaar !!!!
