Phones like X8, X10 Mini, X10 Mini Pro, W8 (and others I may forget) will not get the update (they didn't even make it to Gingerbread). That's pretty logical, but still, it means it's NOT the whole lineup. Just 2011 onwards.

"so if you own one of those – go ahead and check for an OTA update"
OTA???
Sony stated long ago that the updates will not be OTA but via PC. In fact, every forum is being flooded with info on how to update using Sony Update Service (or similar programs) for PC and Mac.

Updated my xperia neo some days ago, the same day the updates rolled out.
I'm not a huge fan of ICS, some things work better, some not. I think the battery life now is a little bit lower, but will see. Some features, like map making are good, some makes a bad view, like last used apps.

I just mean about the review of ICS-updated phone, not the ICS it self.
Whether ICS bad or not, it's not my concern..
But I do hope too that Google will grow up with the upcoming of Jelly Bean.

> In reply to b10nd13 @ 2012-06-06 18:20 from tA$j - click to readWhy, their "review" of lpq on S2 did not say anything negative about ICS even though lpq was a buginfested disaster?! Have Google paid reviewers to always be positive when "reviewing" ICS, because every ICS is still a buginfested disaster with gigantic battery drain..., even though battery while in stand-by is ok but that could be because it goes into too deep sleep!

I updated my Pro (the "grown up" one, not Mini Pro) last week, and I'm satisfied with it. Performance looks on par with Gingerbread, and the new functions are welcome.
However, from muscle memory I'd say Google switched the order of the "OK" and "Cancel" buttons on most windows, since I now have a tendency to tap the wrong one.
